yeah I thought shampoo 2 would have been better but I tried it & I found it too harsh- hair should not squeak!!, as in it has stripped out the natural oils, shampoo's ( some) actually make oily hair worse by taking out too much oil & stimulating the sebacious glands even more which = even oiler hair, my hair is behaving very well to the Paul Mitchell products I told you about in my first mail & it is over a week now, I like most of Paul Mitchell's products, but I realy think Shampoo 2 may be a little too harsh, I'll let you be the judge of that!!Any thing else please feel free to mail me on the board (I am a hairdresser of 20 years but retired!!) & a self confessed product junkie, they make them I try the lot, maybe I need help!!Best Wishes, Simone.(C). :)

To tell you the truth I have been using aveda's rosemary mint shampoo and redken's ultra light conditioner daily.I measured the time and the longest time before my hair turns oily is 20 hours but usually 14 to 18 hours.I think thats ok.The reason why I'm interested in oily hair shampoos is because I heard about excess sebum clogging the scalp pores retarding hair growth making hair dull and lifeless.I might need a deep cleasnser to get rid of them.Even my salon has an oily hair treatment using Bonacure's dandruff exfoliating cream and vitamin massage liquid(or something like that). The hairdresser says it would help with my oily hair prob .Should I try it?Anyway I copied a message from aveda BELOW.Thank you for visiting the Aveda web site. We would recommend trying our Rosemary Mint shampoo. This unique formula invigorates and refreshes hair, while organically grown peppermint invigorates the scalp. It adds body to fine hair without weighing it down and leaves hair clean without stripping. It is appropriate for all hair types and especially effective for oily hair. Please contact an Aveda Concept Salon or Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Store directly for price information. Thank you for your interest in Aveda. For a Greener Planet, Aveda Customer RelationsThats all.Bye.psI still condition my scalp daily regardless of what people say.
