A couple of friends and I tried to spike our hair by putting a lot of pomade in it, now we can't get it out, any suggestions

pomade can be really heavy because of the oils used in many brands. i suggest thorough shampooing with a good clarifying shampoo. Aveda makes a great one. if you cant or dont want to buy a clarifying shampoo, try shampooing a few times with your normal shampoo. that should do the trick:) silvie

You can also try dish washing liquid. The grease cutting ones. Thay work, but they will dry you hair out. So use a very good shampoo and conditioner when you get the pomade out.HTH
