There are plenty of good hairdressers over here in the UK, my advice to you is to go into a shop when you get here and buy a hair magazine, there are plenty here, which have a list of recommended salons in the back, and list prices and marks out of ten. That way you can choose yourself.

Hi Brigit!I'm an American who lives over here in Europe (France). My hubby is English and he likes to get his hair cut at a salon in Abingdon (near the city of Oxford) called "Reflections" that is highly rated. They have skilled stylists there, and are pretty friendly besides.Holly

I'm moving to England for a year and I need the name of a good stylist near London or Oxford. My hair hovers around shoulder length and is layered w/ the shortest one being a little below my chin. (I just took 4 inches off last week, so this is still a new style...). If anyone has the name of a professional who does cute, young cuts and won't lop it all off without my consent, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!Thanks so much,Brigit
