My hair, on the sides and front of my head, is fine and wavy; on the crown and back, it is courser and curly. What kind of hairbrush and brushing techniques should I use? I am working on growing my hair out from a short layered style to long hair.

My hair is the exact same way except it is mid back length! The only time I can brush my hair is when it is wet or else it gets frizzy and poofy! And when I can't brush it (because it isn't wet) I spray some leave-in in my hair and run my fingers though it. Try it sometime, it works great for me!~Good Luck!> My hair, on the sides and front of my head, is fine> and wavy; on the crown and back, it is courser and> curly. Thanks, Haley, my instincts were telling me that brushing probably isn't good for my type hair - nice to know that this type hair can grow longer!> My hair is the exact same way except it is mid back> length!
