I recently got a perm, I needed to do something different. I am very unpleased with it and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to reverse the process. I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone could offer!

You need to ask your stylists how long to wait, because to many chemicals can ruin your hair. I recommend Radical Rusk or One-N-Only curl remover. Hope this helps!

I was in your shoes about five years ago. The perm left my hair totally fried and mushy, it looked singed. Anyway, against EVERYONE's advice, I decided to relax the perm, which meant just applying the same perm solution and combing it straight. It turned out wonderful! My hair was almost as good as before I got the perm and I no longer had to suffer through the long growing out process. It was a good lesson for me-I'll never get another perm. P.S. Don't try this at home-got to the salon, and you should probably wait at least a month before reversing the perm.

>I was told biotin, inositol andmethionine is great for hair growth. Is this true? If so what mg should I take to get proper results?

> I agree with Sara, see a professional. Also I have used Vavoom Straight Talk which is a thio-based relaxer, with great success. It's easier on the hair than a regular lye based relaxer. It's essentially the same solution as a perm only with thickeners to weigh the hair down in order to straighten. I would wait at least two weeks between chemical services, and while you wait, condition, condition, condition!
