Please help me I have tons of split ends and my hair feels really dry (like straw.) I just had an inch cut off about a week ago!! I am trying to grow my hair out and having to go to the butcher shop every 2 weeks is not going to help. Is there anything I can do to stop the splits??Oh, if this helps any I have dark blonde hair.

hiif you do not alrady, you need to start dping deep conditioning and moisterizing paks. ARTec makes a good one. use this *at least* once a week. sounds like you could use it more often. Other brands that work very weel: Joico K-Pak, andKiehl's coconut & lecithin masque.:) silvie

Here it is: Wash your hair with Boten Oil from NEXXUS, then put Humetrics (it's a conditioner) in your hair, leave it in till your ready to get out of the shower. Then wash it out. Ring your hair out really good and put a little larger then a pea size amount of Humetricks in again. Leave it in, and when your ready to leave the bathroom, put a little bit of Hairdresser (leave in conditionar)in. You could also use mayonase in your hair (leave it in as long as possible. At least an hour. Hope this works!!!!!!!!

I use the Artec Moisture Pac. It is very good and I am having great results with it. I also like to do jojoba oil treatments at night. Try trimming just each individual split end and not cutting a whole inch off. By doing this I can stretch the time out between trims and not have to have so much trimmed off. Last year I was having 1 & 1/2" - 2" trimmed off every 6 weeks and so of course I was getting shorter hair and not longer. Try experimenting with some different products and hair care regimes. You will find something that helps your hair. Try to style it as little as possible and use as little heat as possible or none.

Thank you all for your advice. I have tried Artec Moisture Pak once and it did nothing for me but I will try it again though. Maybe it was because my hair was not this dry before. I will also try the jojoba oil! I am at the point to where I will try anything!

The best thing I have found to use on my hair is Potion 9. Be careful, don't use a lot or it will make your hair greasy. Start with a TINY drop and adjust from there. This stuff really works wonders.Hope this helps, ggggg
