i'm having long hair and my hair belongs to dry type. I've been using hair treatment cream but it seems like my hair didn't get smoother nor healthier. My long hair now look dry and unhealthy, what should i do to make my hair healthier? How can i keep my long hair healthy?
Hi Berlinda,I don't know what kind of treatmnt you are using, but I know that oil treatments work well (you have probably heard of home treatments using olive oil, coconut oil, and jojoba oil). I'm guessing that oil is a better moisturizer than cream. What I do is spead some oil throught my hair (not so much that it will drip) before showering. Then, after the shower, after the hair dries, if it still needs more conditioning, I add a few more drops of oil and spread it thorugh the hair. This should be enough to keep it moisturized. You might not see the difference immediately, but after a month or two, you should be able to see how much healthier the hair is. If you have thick hair, you might also want to do weekly oil treatments (spead some oil through the hair and wrap it up in a warm towl; wait for 20-30 minutes and wash out). If you keep to this routine, I think you will like the results. It sounds very simple, but it's very effective. The best of luck to you,PD> i'm having long hair and my hair belongs to dry type.> I've been using hair treatment cream but it seems like> my hair didn't get smoother nor healthier. Hi Kellie,I use Nexxus Humectress as it has Mega Moisture, I use 2 teaspoons(it is very concentrated)on my shoulder length hair, then wrap my hair in plastic wrap & throw on a beenie for 1 hour to keep the heat of my scalp in, then rinse you can do this every day if your hair is in hair hell as it is only moisture- not Protein as too much protein has been known to assist in breakage, also go for a deep salon treatment & use a good blow dry spray (if you use a blow dryer)so you don't frazzle your hair, I love Paul Mitchell's Seal & Shine as it is not sticky & leaves hair soft, Nexxus makes a superb treatment called Keraphix with cross polymers & elastin to help repair really damaged hair.Good Luck,Simone. (C). :)
