Hey, Holly!Long time no see:) Hope you have been well and glad to see you wandering here. You know, I don't know. Ooooo...I am in trouble:)I know jojoba is high in protein, but the EFA's I just don't know. I wonder if there is website now devoted to nothing but jojoba oil. Mmm....sounds like an idea brewing:)Bye for now,Jade> Is Jojoba oil a rich source of Essential Fatty Acids?> Also, when is the best time to apply jojoba oil?> Thanks,> Holly

Hi Jade,Yeah, it has been awhile since we last wrote. I just found on "Salon Web" that SAFFLOWER OIL is actually a great source of E.F.A.'s. I'm going to keep searching though and see what more I find out. Thanks, anyway. Thanks,Holly

Hi, Holly,I use the jojoba oil at night on the ends. I used to use the pure jojoba oil, but now I use the Aveda Beautifying Oil, which has jojoba oil in it, and other cool stuff as well. I found that about 3 drops of that product every night (or just about) does the trick. It spreads very well. Therefore, a small bottle that cost $18 has lasted me for a very long time. I have found it to be more cost effective than the jojoba in the long run.Regards,Clare> Hi Jade,> Yeah, it has been awhile since we last wrote. Hi Clare and Jade,Can you tell me when you applied straight jojoba oil if you applied when hair was dry? I know that might sound dense, since you already said it was at night, but some people do shampo at night. Just want to be sure I do this right. Thanks,Holly
Hi, Holly!Apply the jojoba to dry hair. This goes for moisturizing ends and length as well as hot oil treatments.I want to also tell you that I have tried safflower oil and did not like it one bit. It is extremely light and surprisingly it builds up on your hair.Bye for now,Jade> Can you tell me when you applied straight jojoba oil> if you applied when hair was dry? Hi Jade,Thanks for the directions, and for the tip on Safflower oil. I'll keep in mind your findings and comparisons (this sounds like a science experiment-ha ha). I can't even find either oil over here in France! If I do ever try Safflower oil, I'll compare the jojoba oil and see if one is any better for my hair. Thanks again,Holly
