Lisa, this (and most everything else has happened to me!!), I went darker as your stylist is correct in suggesting that you go darker as in to help save your hair from breaking off due to amount of lift you require as in platinum blonde, myself I cannot see how it could damage your hair if the hairdresser only does your re-growth,as a retired hairdresser I would treat your hair with mega doses of moisture(even coat all your hair except the roots) then tint it to your platinum,Lisa what was the double process??, my personal opinion if it was me would be to go darker & get a good trim not a hack session, as it is devastating to have your hair chopped off if you love it long (like me!!), Ireally would like to know why your hair was double processed to start with, if you have already gone from dark to so very light then only re-touches would apply, so I am only guessing here, Please mail me back if you can with what the other process was, maybe then I can really help as on a tech point.Hope U Feel Better Soon,Simone. hii'm sorry to hear about this problem. i had similar breakage when someone used a chemical color on my henna-ed hair. It was bad!Anyway, what really helped me and stopped the breakage was Nexxus Emergencee. this stuff is expensive but it works exceptionally well. It quite literally bonds to the hair and makes it stronger. I suggest using this stuff (on damp hair, covered with a plastic cap, with heat applied preferably, and at least for 30 minutes.)Also, to replace all the lost moisture, please try Joico KPak mixed with 25% wheat germ oil, heated slightly in the microwave and allowed to cool so it wont burn your scalp. use with a plastic cap and set for at least 30 minutes. In the meantime, treat your hair with the outmost gentleness. avoid any unnecesary tugging or pulling.feel better :) silvie

I tried to E-Mail you, but it wouldn't go through.Try ApHOGEE Treatment for Damaged hair, Balancing Moisturizer, and Shampoo for Damaged Hair. They work GREAT! You can get them at Sally's Beauty supply
