I have the same hair type. It's very thick and coarse. I have tried many styles. The ones that work best...if your hair perms well, a layered cut with a perm may help, but this is a high maintainence style that needs lots of care.Something that does not take a lot of time...shoulder length with some layering and thinning, have an expert help you find the right choice of style.I have been going through a tough time lately because I went shorter and shorter, and the last cut they thinned it out too much. I think razor cutting and thinning works, BUT overdoing this will create a mess and ruin the way your hair lays. Go to someone who is very reputable. Try to stay away from short and layered though, it may sound like it's easier, but it can be just as much work.
> My hair is so rough and thick and i swear to God,it> doesn't even move when the wind is blowing........can> somebody help?????????pleaseI would like to help, but i need more information about your hair type.Ex.is it color treated, permed, bleached, short long, natural curly. Please respond I will check back in a day or so.Maybe leave your e-mail.
> my hair is naturally wavy and shoulder length if it> helps.I've tried many ways including putting olive oil> everyday, but it didn't help..thanks a lotOlive oil would weigh your hair down, also it could make it oily. Some good hair products would be helpful. A cut to freshin the ends would be a plus.If your wave is difficult to work with maybe talk to a stylist about a straightener,or a perm to reform your hair. Sometimes curl is better to work with than a wave. Razor cuts are great, but find someone qualified.(get references from someone who has had it done.) There are many options to choose from. Color can also change hair textures making it lite and bouncy.Hope this will help you to find a way to solve your problem.Good luck Ayin
