applied gold brown henna to dyed blonde hair, results are a bright carrot red. Any solutions for toning this down? Thanks

hi-please do not mix henna with chemical dyes! your ahir may begin to break off! for example, if you use a chemical dye over henna-ed hair, or if you use a henna pack over shemically colored hair--you may experience breakge and damage. henna contains metallic compounds that build up on the hair. they dont mix well with other chemical agents! please be careful. I suggest you use Metalex to remove the henna, then re-assess the color from there.good luck :) silvie
