I use Nexxus Humectress and I have looked around for a generic but haven't found it. However, in the beauty salon where I go you can pick up a large bottle for $5, which isn't bad.Sorry I couldn't help.

> Hello,I believe I have seen generic Nexxus at Sally's Beauty Supply. They also have Paul Mitchell generics. I haven't used any of them, but other people on this and other lists have posted that the version sold at Sally's Beauty Supply is good. I believe there is also a Suave Generic Nexxus. Again, I've never used it, but if I am correct several people on this list have tried it and were not impressed. I think there is a way to do a search of old messages in the archives. I haven't done it so I don't know how. Perhaps someone else can tell you how. That way you could read for yourself what others have said about the different generics and decide for yourself.AJ

Hmmm... I don't know if I'm the Jen you're talking about - but I have in the past recommeded the Generic Products Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner (it says on the label: Compare to Nexxus) available at Sally Beauty Supply. These are really great products, and they only cost about $4! They are extremely moisturizing and leave my long hair looking great. I was not nearly as impressed with the Suave version of Nexxus, though. Good luck!> Hi,> I have sent several posts as someone on the board said> they knew the generic equal(I think it was Jen?) for> Nexxus Humectress, but no-one has answered any of my> posts,I'm hoping these posts of mine are actually> getting to the board as I cannot find some?> Please Someone Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Simone.(C) :)

Hi, Simone.Does this topic really warrant such a desperate subject header? I thought your hair was falling out in handfuls. ;)You can buy Nexxus generics at Sally's Beauty Supply. It's not an entire Nexxus knock-off line, but a line that copies the best products in several different lines, including Sebastian and Paul Mitchell.I've tried these products and responded with an emphatic "Eh!" They're superior to supermarket shampoos, but they do not, in my opinion, match up to the originals. I think you get what you pay for.Ally
