Okay guys I have two questions :)I have fine, thin, shoulder length hair cut in long layers (I think that's what it's called...very similar to the "friends" haircut) and I'm trying to grow it long..maybe to at least my shoulder blades...the problem is i need it to look thicker! I put moose in it, blow dry it upside down, then set it on velcro rollers for about ten minutes...and it looks great!...for 20 minutes..then it falls flat..i've tried megahold hairspray too..that doesn't help..so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I could 'keep' my hairstyle...all day if possible! My second question is...Has anyone used the "amplify" products and do they work?thanks! :)

hi-i have read many, many raves about Redken Guts as being the thing to use to give more to fine hair--that's preceisely what it is designed for. I love the Redken line so i think this is an option to try. I've not tried Amplify.good luck :) silvie

>I also have really fine hair. I use Redkin Gly Pro shampoo. Very little conditioner if any. I started using the amplify gel and really like it. So I got the root lifter to try and like that too. So what I do is use a little gel and spray on the root lifter and blowdry. I must blowdry or I have no body at all. I have a slighty long layered cut, almost to top of shoulders and I like the results. And I tried almost everything. My 2 cents worth: Rusk Radical Creme. I come from a long line of fine hair women, and this stuff is worth its weight in gold to me. I have tried the Amplify line .....I prefer Radical Creme. I am also about to pick up the Big Sexy Hair line from Ecoly, for my salon. Just tried some out at a show and was very impressed.
