Two good chemical straightners that I have used are Anti-Radical Rusk and One-n-Only curl remover. I am not a stylist but let me give you some advice. I would get my hair straightned about every 3-6 months. Then I started doing it every month. Well, that was a bad idea becasue my hair got into terrible shape. It was extremely dry and broke off alot. I haven't had one it about 3 months and I am finally getting back into healthy condition. But if you do straighten DO NOT do it every month like I did, you will regret it. I recommend also that you use Redken AllSoft shampoo and conditioner b/c it softens hair really good.Hope this helps.

Rusk "Str8" is one, and another suggestion is: Phillip B's "Drop Dead Straight Hair Straightening Baum". You might visit http://www.naturallycurly.com, for some other ideas.
