I need some help here. I'm doing a research paper and I need someone to direct me to a site where I can find a BUNCH of information on Make-up artists, Hairstylists, and Nail techs, FAST! I also need to know about the education and certification that's required for these positions, the salary/income earned, and any other details possible. This information would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Leslie

Leslie,I just got on Altavista and did a search on cosmetology. A ton of links came up - cosmetology careers, cosmetology schools, etc. I'm sure the info you are looking for can be found on one of those sites. Good luck with your paper!I need some help here. Education varies from state to state, most cosmotoligist spend about a year in school, eight hours a day, five days a week. Barbers, a little less, about 1700 hours. A barber in most states is not alowed to do nails, and cosmos can not use a razer on skin. Salary veries GREATLY. Average is probebly not much more than min. wage becouse many stylist are self employed and have very little motivation. Those who do make VERY good mony, upwards of 50, to 60K.
