Hi,i want to grow my hair to my waist (my hair now is about 1 inch under my shoulder)but my friends are discouraging me.Some say i look better with shorter hair(i like it better long,it used to be pretyy long before plus whenever i see anyone with long hair i wish it was me with that hair.)and another which has waist lengnth says its hard to take care of and ill get bored with it(my hair is also curly and frizzy which means it will be better longr). So u see their all discouraging me and all i need is encouragment and advice. Thanks a lot!
Don`t let anyone speak for you. Only you can know whether or not long hair will bore you, and you will only know that after it grows! It may, indeed, be difficult to take care of...but then, so is a shorter cut! I would be contradicting myself if I told you what to do, but I will tell you to do what you want! After all, it`s your hair!
Let me end by telling you the story of my hair. Nobody wanted me to get it cut short (shoulder length). But after I did, everybody (and I do mean EVERYBODY) loved it! Now that I`ve decided to grow it again, the same people are trying to talk me into keeping it shoulder length. What`s up with that?
Style 4600 is a very boring cut and to be honest I have not seen anyone in this style innthe last year. Long hair is actually easier to work with then short hair. My hair is almost to my waist and it`s much easier than when my hair was above my shoulder. I don`t have to blow my hair dry to look good. Long hair can be worn so many different ways. I`ve learned to do french braids, twists and other updo`s and I always get compliments. Don`t let anyone tell you that you won`t look good with long hair because most people can wear long hair. Good luck and if your looking for a great site for tips on long hair go to www.bbahneycomm.com/longhairlovers

Long, straight hair is a wonderful style. If you want to turn heads wherever you go, grow it to your waist (or longer!), keep it straight, stay away from the hair dye (roots are the worst!) and wash it once in awhile (hehehe). You`ll get tons of attention, if that`s what you`re looking for!
well,my hair is very wavy so i cant keep it strait!i used to hait it wavy but now i actually like it.style 4600 is a little too simple . BUT NOW I WANT TO GROW IT LONG!THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!

I just read your message and think it is great that you are grwing your hair down to your waist. Please don`t let your friends get to you with their negative attitude. It is your hair and if you want it long, then they should be happy for you. Maybe they are just envious of how beautiful you are going to look and that all the boys will be looking at you rather than them. If you ever need someone to talk with via email for encouragement or support, I am more than willing to help out. My email is johnrm@origin.net.au, please feel free to email me and I promise to reply ASAP.
