It's not whether your hair is curly or straight but the style you wear it in. What looks best on you is what's important in a hairdo.

Curly hair is the best! it's rare in Asians, and when people ask you if it's a perm, you can truthfully say "no".

I guess just hold swatches or box sample pictures near your face and see how it looks beside it? Just be careful whatever shade you pick isn't too similar to your skin tone, or it'll all just kinda fade together, which isn't a very good look.

Thanks for the advice..... one more question.. how does one determine which skin tones/hues are best suited for going medium brown - blonde?

Curly hair is natural in Asian hair.
It is a recesive gene in your blood that causes this curls. Most people say the grass is greener on the other side. Most people will probably just die to get your curls. I know my hair is also curly.
What you can do is either relaxed it with chemical or just use products made for curly hair, to give your curly hair the bounce it need to shine

Up until about the time I was 12, I had typical unruly Asian hair. After that, it turned curly. It's been six years with curly hair and I still haven't found a good solution, aside from a straightening iron. Is naturally curly hair normal in Asians? And what about dark brown hair? And perhaps most importantly, what is one to do with medium length, curly hair?
