For all of you color experts out there..

I had highlights done at the end of August. My hair is a dark blonde/light brown color naturally. I had some blonde highlights put in there then, and they are starting to grow out.

My question is, how far out should I let them grow before I get the roots touched up?

I'm new to the whole highlights world
