...of my hair going ginger? I have currently a semi-p reddish colour on my hair and I am going to use a light brown permanent colour on my hair. Is it likely to go ginger?

Are you asking because you want it to, or to avoid it?
Anyway, dark hair being dyed lighter does usually pick up a gold or orange sort of cast. I'm not sure what red hair being dyed light-brown does, though. If I had to guess, I'd put it in the "light orange" category, but I've no experience to base that on.
