There are people here who've said they use semi-perm to extend the time they can go between permanent dyes, since the permanent dyes are harsher. And I've been known to throw a semi-perm in mine on a random whim. I don't think there's any problem with any weird interactions between those types, in general.
now that you mention it i do remember my stylist (back when i used to get m y hair dyed at a salon saying i could use semi perm in between dyes) thanks kuroneko
