Does anyone here have experience using Metalex to get rid of color deposits on the ends of hair? I have been coloring my hair (permanent) for quite some time now and have dark color deposits on the ends of my hair. The rest of it looks just the way I want to, I don't want to have to pay a load of $$ to lighten up the ends just a little. I don't want to use anything that will bleach or totally strip the color, I just need something that takes the "extra" stuff off. Help please?

Alrighty, well I went to Sally's and got it, tried it on the ends, was chicken and took it off too early. Didn't seem to do jack squat to the color. I'm going to try to leave it on a little longer this time. If it still doesn't work I'll just let it fade I guess.
