Hi:
I've justed highlighted my hair with SoColor 9G and 10 with a 40 developer. It looks pretty good but I was hoping to achieve a more blonde color so now wanting to try using bleach on a test strand to see how that would turn out. What do you mix with powdered bleach? What exactly is toner? What exact steps would I do: bleach, then shampoo, then add 9G+the developer mixture (maybe only a 20 this time)? Any suggestions/answers?

Try asking your question on the Going Blonde message board -- http://www.network54.com/Forum/127834. There are some really knowledgeable people there who know a lot about bleaching and highlighting.
