for my client i used maji contrast red with 40 vol...aftyer few days i saw her .. now her colour looking like dirty brown ..like henna colour hair ..
now i want to do rich colour highlites for her ...may be violet purple or mahogany family .. on dat ugly brown colour how ??
n why red colour feds faster >> is any red colour which will long last fresh whitout fading ???

Hi Gauri. I wish I could help you, but I have no experience with dyeing hair red. I have heard that red dyes fade quickly, but I don't know why or how to prevent it. I hope someone with some experience in this area will be able to help you.

Red is a problem. It fades quicker than anything else. The best way to avoid fading is to tell the client not to use conditioner. I haven't personally found a red that doesn't fade relatively fast. Maybe someone else has.

As for the violet purple...can you pose a site of pictures, or a photo of what hair color you're going for here?
