Hi.
Please could anyone tell me where I may find synthetic hair, like the bunches of strands, not the clip on hair pieces or wigs. Preferrably not on the internet and also, I live in the UK.
They are really for a ''quick fix'' and just to make my hair look a bit different, so I don't want to glue them in, so do you have any other ideas as to how I could put them in?
You may be able to get synth hair at a local beauty-supply store, but you'll only be able to get salon-quality monofiber (Dome, Prostyles, Stargazer, Plastikhaar, and Trimco) online. There isn't much information on local hair sellers on this board, so you may want to try Quinnster's--a lot of the members there are from the UK and may have some leads on local shops.
As far as methods of attachment, there are many; it really depends on what your hair is like and how you want it to look, your budget, etc. Without knowing specifics, I'd think you should look into Shrinkies or extendtubes (braiding and Dome can be really good, but they'd be very hard to do yourself).
Good luck!
