Ok. I'm getting extensions on Friday- My hair is in very good condition- but I have a strange mix of straight and curly hair . It is fine, but I have a lot. The top layers are pretty straight, but I have cowlicks and around the hairline I have some curly areas. I really want straight extensions. Will the little curly spots around my hairline clash with the straight extensions? Opinions, Anyone?
Thanks! P.S. I tried the body wave and at first glance it is just too curly, maybe it will straighten out alot over time?

Hmm. Don't know. If your natural hair is a mix, one can assume you can use both textures in extensions as well.

My opinion is that curly hair never looks good with straight extensions. However, the reverse is true -- straight hair looks good with curly. You sound like you have both.

You'll just have to see how it turns out. Good luck.

Also keep in mind that "straight" extensions are rarely "bone straight" after washing. Most of the ones I've had have had a slight wave, so they might blend with your hair better than you think. If not, perhaps you can blowout your hair, or use a straightening iron on unruly parts?

Good luck!

Oh, yeah and most "bodywave" hair relaxes considerably--after the first wash, even.
