QuoteReplyTopic: Can somebody help me x Posted: January 11 2005 at 4:53am
Hi there, I've ordered some hair for one of my clients from ebonyline. I ordered colour 16 in 18inch. They've e-mailed me and said that they have run out of 18inch and will send me 22inch instead with no extra charge. I e-mailed them back to say that because it was 22inch they were sending me thus the weft would surely be shorter as the hair would weigh more. They can't seem to grasp what I am on about.
My question is, am I still going to be able to get 225 pre-tipped extensions out of this 22inch weft because if I can't that means that its a waste of time them sending me the 22inch weft as I would have had enough hair out of the 18inch weft, any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never had anybody that's wanted 22inch yet so that's why I'm so dumb xx
I thought the wefts were supposed to be the same length (across) regardless of the length (down), which is why they charge more for the 22 inch. But then again, I've never ordered anything shorter than 22 inch, so I really don't know. Is there a 1-800 number you can call to speak with someone? Are you ordering Bohyeme? Maybe you can order from Superhairfactory.com instead? Good luck! :)
Hi there, how many pre-tipped extensions do you get out of your 22inch weft then chick. I live in England its too much posting at superhairfactory, ebonyline is really cheap posting to England. I assumed because it says on the website that all the hair is 4oz that 4oz of 18inch hair would be a longer weft than 22inch hair, am I right or wrong do you think xx
Yeah, if it says all of the hair is 4 oz., then your probably right--you won't get as many strands as you need. Ugghhh.... I wish I could suggest something, but everywhere I've ordered human hair from is in the U.S. too. Maybe someone over at Quinn's board can recommend an alternative? Good luck! :)
The only trouble is that when you find good hair and a good supplier you don't want to change, all the hair in England seems rubbish compared to the Bohyme and I can't find an english stocker. Maybe I'll just have to wait and see how big the weft is when it arrives and fingers crossed that I can get all my pre-tipped hair out of it or I'll have to beg my client to let me put some other hair in as well Yikes!!
Yeah, it's best not to take chances if you really like that supplier. If the hair's 80% the brand you want mixed with 20% something else, you'll probably still be better off than risking it with another brand completely. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out!
I think she meant 80 percent boyhyme pretips mixed with 20 percent of something else she has on hand. In case the 22 inch weft doesnt make enough pretips for a full head!
Oh, no, no, no. I didn't mean that at all, so don't be alarmed.
I meant that if you didn't have enough to make 250 strands or whatever number it is that you need for your client, that you might have to make up that remaining 20% or so with another brand of hair. I didn't mean that they'd mix it up on you. I've never heard anything negative about that seller, so I have no reason at all to think they would.
Sorry if I scared you; what I mean to say is that I think you'll be fine with the 22 inch--I'm sure you'll be able to make it work!
Oh my god, I'm so thick, I thought you mean that they had mixed the hair with something else LOL. I've got some other bohyme but its bits in different colours so I'll have to ask the client is she minds. I'm keeping all fingers and toes crossed that I can get her hair out of the 22inch weft but I've e-mailed Kristen to see if she gets 250 strands out of her 22inch weft as she orders from ebonyline. Does anybody know anywhere in England that sells bohyme at all. Thanks guys, I feel really thick now LOL.

yep, that looks about right for 4 oz. wefts. Although that can vary a little because some hair sellers wefts are thicker/thinner so the lenth of the weft might vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Also WATCH some ebay sellers, some of them sell it in 2 ft. wefts and try to make you think its a good buy by throwing in a buy one get one free sale sometimes! Some sale! LOL
