I've been wearing them since October and have taken them out and reinstalled many times.
I use a double-sided fusion wand, clamp it down over the shrinkie for about 5-10 seconds while gently pulling it downward. I do not hold onto the hair strand or pull it with my fingers, the wand does all the removal.
After the shrinkie and the hair strand is out of my hair, I will put veggie oil on a cotton square, wrap it around where the residue is and gently rub it together to loosen the residue. I then use a fine tooth comb and work the residue out. If I have to, I will use acetone the same way and get the residue out. Normally I don't have to use it.
No damage at all from the shrinkie or its removal.
amm that removal process works perfect for me also. They are a cinch to take out compared to the 'nailtip' fusion hair I currently have. Also so easy to put in, other than the time you spend pretipping. But I guess the more you do it the quicker you get at it!
