well it depends on what type of new york you are in im from queens, we dont usually take taxi's everyone uses the bus l;ike the q40,44's etc. if u are in manhatten or traveling on the van wyc expressway then it is hard to catch a taxi and there will always be a traffic jam (most of the time) i dont think that it is what you see on the movies because in the movies you look at it in a different perspective they are mostly in manhatten in the movies and thats about it, so no. its mad things to do around here though, you can always go to the movies because movie theaters are not to far away you can go to radio city and see shows, conserts and plays, there is always a place to shop like jamaica avenue, the coliseum, green acres mall, roosevelt field mall, and queens blvd, in manhatten you will find a whole bunch of things, manhatten is the center of enterntainment, from movies, to malls, to arcades, and in new york you will never go hungry, they also got skating rings, there are plenty in long island, my favorite is empire skating ring, in brooklyn they be havin da ill music people be dancing on the floor while they skating. and yes you will most likely see a celebrity everyday depending on what part you are from for example if you are in long island, there is a 50 out of 100% chance youll see ashanti because she always visiting her mom and sis in glen cove(which is located in long island, if ur on on jamaic ave. there is also a 50 out of 100% chance you will see lloyd banks, (usually out giving autographs, so yes new york got everything you should come its good for relaxing and sh!t i hope this satisfied u i dont know much about the bronx but jigga could fill you in

KINGS PLAZA used to be my chill spot but it got a lil boring now...as far as music videos, rappers need permits in NYC to do videos so there ain't too many that's always public...but for the videos that are, they shut down the street. I saw Foxy Brown video shoot for the BK Anthem and that's it. Most videos get shot at night or early morning unless you GANGSTA like Jay-Z and do it whenever.

Usher and Kanye tour hit NYC last night and tonight is the second night...I didn't have any tickets but my friend went. He said Usher came out with a New York Giants jersey, then took it off and he had on a New York Yankee Jersey under that, then he took off the Yankee jersey then had on a KNICKS jersey under. Tonight is the after party at Club EXIT for anyone who lives in NYC. I think $20 and you gotta be 18+ to party, 21 to drink
