hello everyone! ive been reading on these boards that a couple of you were trying this out for natural extensions, was just wondering how everyones progress was going *was thinking of ordering some for myself*

and thank you so much for the hair kristin! just came in, pretty colors and pretty hair!

Thank you for your reply Jenny! Thank you for posting those links and i think the hair is very beautiful... i was debating over bohyme and synthetic for a while and i think i definately want to do the synth for the reason of not having to blowdry my hair everyday is very very appealing to me :). I am going to go ahead and purchase some my main concern was just how the upkeep was going on it *how long it lasted, products used on it* etc. Im sure your excited for yours to come in! Just one question for you if you dont mind, did you order it on a weft or just regularly?

No, I didn't order wefts--just the bulk hair, because I'll be using them with shrinkies and/or pinchbraids. That said, working with bulk hair can be a challenge, so I may be kicking myself in a week or so for not ordering the wefts.

Anyway, all the photos I've seen look gorgeous. As far as how long it will last, I think we're all in the dark.......... :)

i'm patiently waiting for the tons of plastikhaar i ordered - 4 colours for myself, and 3 for my sister :D

mail to alaska is just too frickin' slow :) :)


but i can't wait for my doc locks shrinkies to get here ..i want to put in test strands w/the plastikhaar sample i have ...i have fine, thin hair ..so i want to make sure everything is safe, first!

*twiddles*

(hmm, speaking of wefts ..i should have ordered those, too :p ...i can't even begin to imagine the mess i'm going to make with the bulk :P)

I know: I'm kicking myself, too. I just have to remind myself to only cut small bits off the bunch as needed (it's so tempting to take it out of the rubber bands). I got into a bit of a mess with my Dome last weekend! :)

Well i ordered 15 dollar human hair off clearance just to practice tipping with and it wasnt too bad, off course i was cutting it as i went...i have NO idea how you would do that if you did take it out of the band. First practice session with the liquid gold went pretty well, only problem was i started trying to round the tips out too early and got a tacky mess on my fingers *several runs to the sink* but other than that it was fun! of course this was me only doing like 20 strands for practice....im sure on like strand 150 im not going to be so happy anymore doing it hehe. Got my extendtubes from hairpiece and practiced yanking at them for a long time *dont worry they were attached to a wig not my own hair* to test them and it only slipped out once *think it wasnt tight enough* and then after that worked very well! Now just waiting for my samples of plastikhaar to come in so I can make sure of the color before i do a big order. Ordered Champagne blonde so hopefully itll match! Alright alright sorry to go on just excited about all this yay, especially makes it more interesting cause im doing it myself. Oooh and i love hello kitty! yay for hello kitty!
