The deep wave is v.v.v.v. curly, but not in a natural way, its spiral perm and Im having flashbacks from highschool.

Anyways, I am wondering if there is anything to help loosen it up a bit. I dont mind curl, just the tight curl isnt working.

I know african americans use straightener, which sounds hardcore. I wonder if I got some and left it in for just a coupla minutes if it would loosen it up just a bit.

Anyone done this? Any other ideas?

It's human, right? Have you washed it yet? Every time I've gotten a curl or wave texture, the curl/wave has dropped out or loosened a bit after the first wash. Also, Blowdrying it straight (blowdrying while pulling the hair straight with a paddle brush) is way more gentle than relaxer and may last a week or so each time you do it, depending on the hair.

yeah Rose, normally they all drop after a couple washes.
If you want hair to straighten it out a little you can use Phytotherathie- Phytodefrisant, Relaxing Balm on it.
I'm also assuming your talking human hair.

Yep, human.

Thanks for the tips. I am ordering the Phytodefrisant.

Is it something that might be at a drugstore?

Rose~ I use this product for african american hair types, that have a weave in and they are in-between texturizers. I use this product to help relax the edges and it keeps them pretty smooth.

This is where you can get it online, It's a little past 1/2 way down on the page. It's $22....

I'm sure your hair will drop after a good few washes though.
Good Luck!!
