another hairpolice/trimco question

The hair is really good. Sadly it's like 1/2 as long as other brands, and you can't curl it at all as far as I know.
that said, I was told you couldn't curl it and so never tried.
It is the brand of synthetic I use regularly. I find it really durable and the colors are fab. The curling thing.... you should search the old threads, some of the girls have done genius experiments with texture and synthetic. best wishes.

As far as I know, Trimco is comparable in quality to Dome, PH, and Prostyles. The major difference is that Trimco only comes in straight. If your PH is straight, then the two will be a great match; if not, you'll need to "set" the Trimco in some way, and I would suggest velvet-covered hot rollers. (Trimco is monofiber, just like the other three, so you can expect it to react to heat very similarly.)

Keep in mind that the PH/Dome/Prostyles hair may come with an initial curl or wave, but it will loosen and eventually go straight unless you "reset" it, too.

Again, the velvet hot rollers are key. I just got mine, and they work very well---much better than the steam Caruso rollers. Although you can use a curling iron on a low heat (and it's best if you wet the hair first), for an initial "setting" (just to make the hair match before your install), I think hot rollers would be your best bet. The curling iron works, but it can be risky.

I didn't realize that the Trimco hair was short. Dome generally comes in 28 inches; I believe Prostyles comes in the same, 28 inches, unless you order the extra long, which is like 47 inches or so; and the PH is superlong--at least 40 inches, I'd say.

Trimco is about the same length as ProStyles and Dome, yeah. And yes, you can heat-style it: look up the "Synth curling iron experiments" thread for photos.
