Guys,

I thought that was real hair for Lauren. Jerkey Flea what is your call on the matter? I remember your pictoral history of the evolution of Miss Holly's hair and it seemed convincing to me. However, I do wonder about the idea of growing her hair from a pixie cut in 96 to waist length hair in 99. That might seem a little too fast. Is it Jerkey Flea? I'm still wondering just how short she supposedly cut her hair. Anyone know?

My 2 cents worth,

I could be wrong, but the last time I checked, hair grows at an average of one half inch a year, accounting for hair loss and trims, her pixie cut in 1996 should be only to bra legnth by 1999, the beginning of the TV season, and when she appeared with almost waist legnth hair.

It might not be extensions, but it is not natural, IMO.

Actually, I talk about this in this month's column, which, hopefully, I'll be finishing up this week.

If it's not extensions and it's not natural, what the heck is it? (BTW, they're extensions. I've got a source. Check out "Color & Style" this quarter.)
