Her hair is still midback and she has bangs. Bangs look so good on her.

Saw Helen Monday on one of the morning shows in the USA. She looked great. Straight hair and bangs suit her more than many.

In one of the trailers shown on TV for the movie "Castaway", when Tom Hanks finally gets back home, she meets him at the door. She appears to have a shoulder sweeping flip. I don`t think she cut it though. Have seen her on talk shows lately with it still long. Maybe it`s had time to grow since filming ended? Mark

I saw the trailer too and noticed what you did. I don`t think she had it cut, she was probably wearing a wig or otherwise disguising her own hair`s length. I would guess part of the reason for the difference in her character`s hair length was to signal, in a way, the amount of time that had passed (years).. but then you probably already figured that out. :-)

Ah, America`s Most Coveted Thoroughly Ordinary Woman. Her hair hangs as attractively from her head as do the tendrils from a mop.
