Fiona Hutchinson is back on USA daytime soap opera One Life to Live. But her hair -- once the most beautiful on daytime television -- is hacked about as short as it can get. Good point Gord,

The short hair pictures are WAY short. Maybe a little too short. Sometimes, though, people need a radical change. It will be interesting to see what it looks like as she grows it out!

Off the subject here, but. Do you think she and Max will get back together? I used to watch that show years ago when they were together, but as I got older I stopped. What`s going on now? Has she been back for long?

Short hair is not a good look for her. Maybe with a different short style it would look better. IMO she looks much older and very outdated.

I agree her long hair was great. She first cut it off several years ago before starring in a play. I saw a pictorial of the cut in a celebrity hairstyles magazine. Later I came across an interview of her in an online version of People magazine. Here`s what she was asked and answered about her hair:

"What did it feel like when you cut off your long beautiful hair as you did for your stage appearance in `Dial M for Murder?`

Fiona Hutchison: I felt a liberation, like a grownup. I felt that I finally had control of what I wanted to do! One`s hair is a very oppressive aspect of our physical being. It has a tendency to rule us far too much. My hair was all the way to my waist; now it`s to my shoulders, but it was very short. Each project I did, I`ve changed the cut and the color, in the last two years. Now we`re taking it day by day as Jenna. Maybe tomorrow, Jenna will have orange hair who knows?? Actually I doubt it -- my producers wouldn`t appreciate that."

So, she felt "liberated" when she cut her waist-length hair. I kind of know what she means, but I still think she looked better with long hair!

I think her hair will look great if it grows out just a bit. While her long hair was pretty hair - I think the short cut shows the rest of her very well.

I think her face is a tad too square to wear hair that short (I have the same problem). It will probably look fantastic when it grows out a bit.

As I life long short hair lover its hard for me to say.... but I don`t like it... considering she`s had long hair her whole life she will most likely grow it back so she should have some nice styles a long the way
