I don`t think blonde hair suits Linda Grey at all. She was beautiful on "Dallas" with her dark hair. I think she looks too "washed out" with blonde hair. I know everyone says you should go lighter as you age, but I`ve never agreed with that. This is a perfect example!
I don`t think it is the hair as much as the wrinkles. If this same `do and color was on a young girl it would probably be applauded and considered fashionable. I applaud her for not succombing to the usual youth culture panic of her peers out there in Hollywood.

Linda does look pretty bad. She originally went blonde in about 95 for her role as Hillary in Models inc so that she would be more believable as Heather Locklear`s mother (Hillary was Amanda`s mom).
The blonde looked good on her then as did it on the 2 DALLAS reunion movies JR Returns and War Of The Ewings. However I think Linda`s best look was the long layered do she had at the beginning of Dallas as can be seen at http://www.dallas.ndirect.co.uk/camille/pjr.htm
This current raggedy anne/ i cut my hair myself without a mirror using blunt scissors/ i think im meg ryan look is awful. IMO Linda needs to grow out the layers, put some more curl in her hair and go darker to at least a golden blonde if not brown.
On a sidenote : Linda doesnt look all that bad considering her age which must be nearing 60! She looks more her age than her co-star Victoria Principal does. Victoria looks extremely youthful largely due to the `Principal Secret` aka her husband Dr. Harry Glassman - plastic surgeon extraordinaire
