Good news kids, the curls have continued to grow. I think we can declare the crisis officially over and allow the Haircut Monitors at The WB move on to more important things...like why Charisma Carpenter has a bob when she has a round face. And I`m not even gonna comment on the blonde streaks in brunette hair. Urgh.

Hmmm...I guess that sorta was a comment, wasn`t it?

Now JF, we all know you have a soft spot for cute girls with long very curly hair! Didn`t you read a while back when Keri Russell said that she LIKED short hair? We all must remember though, change can be good for the soul, as well as message boards!

True. And as I said a long time ago in a column, it wasn`t that her short hair was terrible, it was that she looked much better with it long (though some of those pics of her in "Allure", I think it was, with her short hair styled straight looked amazing).

Anyway, this does give me a small reason to address the fact that lots of folks think I`m biased towards long hair (and a few even think short). I`m biased toward what looks best on the person.

For example Josie Bisset looks best with short hair. Martina McBride shouldn`t have let her hair grow out so long again. Jenna Elfman looks better with her hair shorter.

On the flip side, Courtney Thorne-Smith should NEVER go ultra-short again. Rebecca Gayheart`s face just looks unbalanced with short hair. And Anna Kournikova would become Monica Seles with short hair.

Kim Delaney and Julianna Marguilles look best with their locks mid-length and curly.

As I said, it just depends on the person.

how short is Rebecca Gayheart`s hair? Keri`s hair looks much better. It grew pretty fast didn`t it? I think she should add a few blonde highlights.

Rebecca`s hair has gotten quite long again. And blonde. Check the link for some pics. Just ignore the fact that she looks psychotic in the last picture. =)

I must admit that I think Keri looks great with practically any length of hair but it`s nice to see the long curls again.

Has she dyed it darker?

Hey, I liked Courtney Thorne Smith`s short pixie! She had the perfect face for it and it went actually better with the blonde.

BTW, I saw Keri in "The Lottery" recently and her hair in it was past her waist. I think that movie was from about `96.
