For UK readers: get out of your house *NOW* and get down to your local newsagent to pick up a copy of today`s Saturday Times before they have all gone! The magazine includes an article about Nigella Lawson who has dyed her beautiful mane of dark brown hair platinum blonde, with stunning results! The pictures are amazing; luckily Nigella admits it is only a temporary experimental change - she looks a lot better dark-haired.

I`m not sure blonde works well for her, I prefer her long and dark. I suspect we will see her short and dark before long, the bleaching process looked quite damaging to her existing long hair.
Having said that , it is still interesting to see her as a blonde.

Well, I never thought I`d see dear old Nigella on these pages. She`s a national treasure in women of a certain age and I agree, blonde does nothing for her whatsoever. She was born to have long shiny black tresses and no other look should even be considered. US viewers may be in luck, I read she was due to appear on American screens in the near future and if so she`ll put Anne Robinson to shame.

Just how natural is the Domestic goddess`s hair colour? Just add brown paint and simmer for 20 minutes.....
