Kirsty Hume - Vogue

For those who still didn`t see it. This url shows all pages of the editorial "Gone With The Wind" from Vogue - November/2000 in which Kirsty Hume cuts her hair from very long to very short:

A year and a half after, her hair is still very short.

she showed people like Gord that short hair can be sexy. She looks so hot after the hair cut and so boring before. The long hair did nothing for her unlike the short hair which makes her look so much more sexy.

OK, I`m probably gonna ****** a bunch of people off here, but this is MY opinion. Kirsty`s original length was "too" long. It was string-straight and looked extremely boring. Her long hair would have looked sooooo much better if it was about mid-back length (instead of waist) and had a few layers to lighten it up (it weighed to much to do anything with except ponytails, braids or updos).

So many people think that a woman`s hair has to hang to her rear to be attractive. Wrong, it`s in the style and attitude (and I`m not just talking about their hairstyle). If you look at the "after" shots of her haircut, she just screams "sexy".

True. Of course, that is the world of fashion and beauty. If one model dyes her hair green and wears an outfit made of plastic wrap, next thing you know every model is doing it....

Hey Gord I did not say you would like it, I just said it showed long hair lovers such as your self that short hair can be sexy, if you don`t see it in those pictures than well I don`t know what to tell you. Like some one else said it was tooo long she could of keep it long just like mid back and layered or something, I have nothing against long hair if it looks nice on a woman but hers was to long and boring it just hung there. Her new style says I`m to hot to handle now. But just as you resepected my opion I respect yours. It would be nice if these celebritys would donate there long hair to Locks For Love when they chop it at least than some thing good would come out of it other than ******ing of long hair lovers.

Not to offend, or anything, but the way you come off is that you are presuming to think that Gord (and other long hair lovers) think Kristy Hume`s haircut is sexy, when Gord said he didn`t think so.

I don`t think that this was your intention, but your message comes off as patronizing. I agree with you about Kristy, but it is not an absolute. That`s all.

(as for locks of love, I believe that their policy is that the hair cannot be colored, so even if Kristy wanted to give her hair to them, they would not have taken it.)
