how should i request 4 my hair to get cut in order to keep waves?
ANYTHING GOOD OR WORTH HAVING IS WORTH WORKING FOR

ie. waves, degrees, money, relationships, albums

No one has ever answered this question.

Hopefully your barber has that poster with all the styles on it. Just point it out. If not just ask for a trim. That's what I do.

Ask for a cut thats not to low but low going with the grain. Say.., "please dont cut aginast the grain b/c i have waves and i will appeciate if you will cut with the grain and not to low."

if u got soft hair it helps sometimes to get it cut using clippers 1 size bigger than #2 clippers

on the poster in my barber shop, i say i get a number 19. when i went in for the first time, barber saw my waves, and assumed i wanted it cut to wave length.

might be a dumb assumption, but i would think most barber shops with fairly experienced barbers know how to handle cuts w/waves.
