French Swimming Pool

Not really a blooper, but I think it fits the profile.Couple of years ago my wife and I were in the south of Franch and the BIG story in the local paper was about a girl who had 'almost been drowned' when her long hair was sucked into the outlet of the local pool. This merited a full front page article (and I agree that it could have been a tragic event if she had drowned, however she was unhurt and her hair was, as far as we could tell, undamaged.What amused us was that 2 days later there was another full page front pager showing the mayor himself cementing in the new (smaller and less savage) outlet pipe.
