Relaxer is for women....it simulates hair leaving it silky, and str8, not neccessarily a perm, unlike texturizer is penetrates the scalp for deep relaxation.....relaxer contains vitamins, and shyt like that.

texturizer is for both genders but certain brands are offered for different sexes.....texturizer is used to smoothen out hair to it's thinest state thus making it easier to manage(recomended for switching directions, and perfecting ur pattern

A relaxer is directed towards women but its not only for women.

Anyways, they are the same thing, the texturizer is milder and is left on for a shorter period of time, it semi loosens the curls.

A relaxer loosens the curls, it DOES NOT make the hair straight, if you put a perm in your head and you wash your hair and it ends up straight your hair is fried and over processed. Your hair should have some wave after relaxing it, it is the heat from flat irons and blow driers that make it straight...which most women do right after the relaxer.

Both methods are damaging, and drying to the hair, they break the bonds of your hair, so if you don't want the chemical anymore than you have to grow your hair and cut off the relaxer/texturized everything.

There is NOTHING stimulating about a relaxer nor is it relaxing to get one. Talk to alot of women, they get burns in their scalp and puss oozing out from relaxers and texturizers. You never put a relaxer on your skin...if you have seen the movie FIGHT CLUB, Brad pitt puts lye on his hand and it burns a hole in his hand, lye is in most relaxers and if you are putting that on your scalp just think of the things it is doing to you.

it's a secondary use for wut ur talkin about....perm has texturizer in it, but it comes in a cream form, and has more chemicals capable of making ur hair fall out, but the blue gel texturizer is the one to use, and thats safe
