Catherine, I know exactly how you feel. The same thing happened to me when I was a teenager. I wasn`t eating very healthy and had a lot of stress, which I think made the problem worse. I have 2 suggestions for you:
1. Take your vitamins, drink lots of water, get more sleep, reduce your stress. Very hard to do!!!!
2. Grow your hair longer. The weight of the extra hair pulls the poufiness out. Or cut it very short, so there is no hair to pouf. Those are the only styles that have worked for me. In-between lengths only seemed to make it worse.
