I got my hair streaked on just the top. It felt liked it burnt my scalp that day and I had some breakage. Blow dried my hair two days later and it burnt. Smelled of perm solution and a whole butch broke off. The hair dresser says I only burnt it with the blow drier? They also tell me my hair is in excellent condition? Wouldn`t the product contributed to this breakage?
I`m a hair dresser, and yes it is possible that the product contributed to the hair breakage..but also once you have a chemical process done you`re hair is very vulnerable to heat and stress.(I know it sounds stupid). Trust me your hair dresser did not ruin your hair, it does happen. My suggestion to you would be to use some deep conditioners, try letting your hair air dry for a while, and wait a while until you have your streaks touched up.
