If someone could give me some help....I have always used feria ultimate blonde, No pre bleaching or anything... I have always had a orangy tone to my roots.. I went to wal- mart and seen the born blonde by clairol.... I put in on my roots thing it would strip the orange out of it.........OHHHHHHH NNNOOOOOOOO.. LOL Couldnt be simple... Now my hair is kinda yellow looking with light orange roots... Its not real real bad. but looks like a really bad bleach job... I am asking if I should buy some shampoo.. blue base to cover the orangy part ,,,,and wait awhile to do something else,,,,,,,OR should I just buy a toner to help get rid of som of the light orange...... Please help me!!!!!!!!! You can email me at txfoxyblonde@yahoo.com..... Yeah my hubby gave me that addy.lol now he calls me tx foxy bannana..lol.. At least he is laughing at it....
Blue shampoo doesnt have enough pigmen tin it to netralize the orange. The roots need to be lifted some more to get rid of the orange pigment.Hair goes orange and yellow because the product wasnt left on long enough or your natural color is too dark to be lightend with the product you chose. hint .... Heat (like a blow dryer)will help hair lighten to lighter blondes sometimes. Make sure you put a bag over your head tho the color needs to stay moist.
