Are you talking about the "carve and slice" method? that`s what Ouidad calls it. www.ouidad.com. I`ve had it done and I can tell you that it works. They slice it somehow (not thinning!) so that the curls lay inside of eachother, and it somehow makes them work better - mine goes into spirals, which it never did before. It also reduces the bulk and hugeness. Good luck.

Hi...i`m a guy and i have curly hair and i`m also growing it out long:P but i wear my hair naturally in curls all the time and i am kinda interested in making it more curly with this method.
However i was wanting to know would it look right on a guy?

also since i`m growing it out would it be easily done by just trimming it as normal, and just re-doing the method like ever half a year or so? or is this a style which needs to be constantly re-done?
