I had a spiral perm years ago but my hair was past my shoulders then. I really liked it. Right now my hair is styled as a BOB and its flat and straight. Its just above my shoulders. I was wondering if a spiral perm would look good with the way my hair is now? I have tried the body waves and such but I didn`t like them very much. The only perm that I really liked was the spiral.

Hi Becky I have about the same length hair and I have a pretty tight spirel perm and it is the cutest style I have ever had I don`t know how tight you were thinking of mine is pretty tight I hope this helps please email me back with your thoughts or if you get it done

OK...since you`ve had a spiral perm before you know that things can go wrong. So you know there`s a little bit of a risk. I had a spiral perm a year ago. My hair was about 4 inches past my shoulders. The spirals were loose...I didn`t want a tight spirl. Mine came out very pretty. It took me a few days to get use to it. Since you`ve already had a spiral you know what to expect.
I think your hair length is fine for a spiral. Just remember that the curls will make it shorter so keep that in mine.
I personally prefer a loose spiral curl. So, I think you you`re ready to go for one again. Let me know what or how it turns out!!!
I think Jangles said her spiral turned out a lot like style #4536. I don`t think she would mind me passing this on. I thought a picture would help. Rachel

Thanks for your response. I think I have decided to wait for a few more months. Maybe until my hair gets to my shoulders. Its so hard to wait especially when your hair gets so unrulely.
I did look at that picture and I did write to Jangles. I do like the picture but i think its too tight for me.
