Hey folks!
I need some advice with my curly hair.
My hair is a loose curl, probably closest to the actress Keri Russell in type, after she got her hair cut. It is about that length as well, now reaching nearly to my shoulders. My hair also tends to get very dry and sometimes fairly frizzy. I have to use a leave-in conditioner to keep the frizz down.
I need some advice on product-types and styling tips. At the moment, I use mostly Aveda products. I was thinking of trying Aveda`s Sap Moss Shampoo/Conditioner or trying Aveda`s Pure-Fume Brilliant Shampoo/Conditioner; I am currently using Aveda`s Shampure Shampoo/Conditioner. Which product do you think would work best for my hair?
Also, does anyone know if the Sap Moss Conditioning Detangler by Aveda can be used as a leave-in conditioner?
I would also like to find a good deep-conditioner/oil to use. I certainly could use one, considering how dry and damaged my hair can get. Any recommendations?
As for styling, how do you get good curl definition? I just tend to let my hair air-dry, which is a hit-or-miss type of deal. Sometimes I get good curls, sometimes my curls just lie almost flat on my head. And how about pomades? I`ve tried using Aveda`s humectant pomade, but it tends to make my hair frizzy. What sort of styling products should I use and should I wait until my hair gets drier, or should I use them when the hair is still mostly wet.
Hrm...I guess I`ve asked a lot of questions. Thanks for any help.
best products- LA looks curl boost- it comes in a red bottle and is a liquid- to- foam mousse. another great one- got2be curled up spray- i use both and then blow dry- trust me- i have crazy, frizzy, gigantic hair and these products WORK!!!!!
