My hair is naturally curly, and at shoulder length. im really into the punk and rock style, and i straighten my hair everyday so that it is easier to handle and warp into those crazy hairstyles i so much love. i like spikes and the bold textured hairstyles. anyways i want my hair to be really really really short... kind of like charlize therons short look.. and i can always straighten it if i want to.. how should i tell my stylist to cut it???
thanks
k

I hope these directions aren`t too hard to follow! If you have any questions, e-mail me at sheena_jean@hotmail.com!

Here`s an idea BEFORE you cut your hair:
After you get out of the shower, with clean hair, put L`ORE`AL PARIS SPRINGING CURLS MOUSSE in your hair. Follow it with CLAIROL HERBAL ESSENCES NATURAL VOLUME ROOT VOLUMIZER, but only if hair is thin/fine. Next, flip your head upside down and "scrunch" in some L.A. LOOKS MEGA MEGA HOLD (5) STYLING GEL. Now, spray in about 5-6 pumps of FREEZE IT FREEZE SPRITZ. Now, get your hair dryer, turn it on low, with either warm or hot air. Blow dry your hair slowly! Take your time "scrunching" your hair while blowing the air on it. When it is almost dry, flip your head back to normal. Now, the FUN part!
Now, start by parting your hair, losely, down the center. Make another part about an inch and a half to the left. (So it is parellal to the first part.) Now, about 4-5 inches back from the hair line, is where you need to stop the part. (I hope you understand this, it`s difficult to explain!) Grab this section of hair, and pull towards the back of the head. Now, twist this section until you have about 2 inches left or curly hair that is not twisted! Twist the twised hair into a "knot" on you head and pin down with bobbin pins. Make sure you leave some curly hair sticking out the back of the "knot". Repeat this process on the other side of your head. Now, Reapeat 2 more times, but with the hair above your ears, but below the already "tied" sections. Now, pull up varies sections in the back of your head and pin them, making sure you have some curls falling in front of your pins. Pin up all your hair so it gathers in a bunch by these "knots". Spray your hair again with the FREEZE IT FREEZE SPRITZ, spiking your hair out a little. If you can understand my instructions, I know they are hard to duplicate on your head with out a picture, but if you really need one, I`m sure I can send you one, just mail me back! I hope I have helped you! this style is really awesome with straight hair too, but spike it all instead of having it curled.
