I`m bored with my hair. I am 15, male, and have dark brown hair that is not real curly, but loose curly almost wavy. I hate my hair and some gals say they wish they had my hair, is that a good thing? Right now it is about half an inch on the sides and back and fades too the top with about 1 1/2 on top. It all curls up on the top so I just leave it. I really want to use a straightening shampoo, any advise on some good ones?. Then grow it out a bit and keep it shaggy like the emo-punk mop top. If anyone some answers to the two above questions or advise on this please tell me, and I need some pictures of the style, I don`t really have time to search for hours so pics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Shampoo cannot straighten your hair, no matter what the label claims. To make naturally curly hair straight, you must use styling products and ideally a blow dryer. The reason: you must get your hair to dry into a different shape because the hydrogen bonds holding your hair`s pattern together are only broken when your hair is wet. They reform as your hair dries and that`s why it gets curly again. You have to style your hair when it`s wet to get it to stay straight. I hope this helps.
