Yes, I get the front of my hair layered from the chin down. It adds extra body and makes the curls softer. Also it gives you something to work with when you put your hair up.
My hair looks terribly dull without layers in it. Layers gives wavy/curly hair a lot more volume, and full look. I'm happy with it for me, though everyone has their own texture.
Hi! Curly hair looks much better with some layers- they give it more fullness and tend to help bring out the curl more since the top layers of hair won't be weighed down as much. Keep in mind tho that curly hair has to be layered differently than straight- if you have curly hair and you want layers, make sure you go to a stylist that knows what they're doing.

my hair is curly, and it''s not extremely curly but it''s definite curl. It''s fairly long, about mid-back and almost impossible to un-frizz. I had layers once when my hair was less curly, more of a strong wavy and it floofed so bad I look like a lion. Would layers still help my thick hair? to make the curls prettier and softer and less-frizzed?
My hair is more wavy than curly, but I love it in long layers. I use the lightest gels I can find on damp hair, mixing the gel with water in my hands, to keep the curls frizz-free and soft. Sometimes I finger-comb my hair to get it even softer, after it's completely dry.
Right now I'm into Biolage Glaze, it's very light and smells scrumptious. I use very little, just enough to keep the frizz at bay. Less is more.
I have layers in my very curly hair and i think it helps to add body. it makes it so the top of my hair isn't flat and all the sudden it just poofs out, it kinda helps to spread around the poofiness so it looks good! i kno it sounds weird but w/e... i happen to like my hair, an dmost ppl with curly hair that have layers in it better.... just my opinoin tho
I have super curly hair... like seriously! I love it to death, but I only know how to do it like 3 ways... down, pulled back, or messy bun. Some one please help me! Oh to make it worse... I will be able to date soon, and I don't know what to do with my hair!
